BTS shooting for TagHeuer AugustMan Malaysia

At 6am, in the space of 3 hours we experienced cloud, rain, sunshine, sun showers, and a freak wave which took out my assistant Casey, any my beloved Nikon D800 - oh well.  All worth it, and some cracking images to come for TagHeuer in AugustMan Malaysia.  Stay tuned for the full shoot.

Water Angel Wings

One of my favorite styles of shooting lifestyle fashion swimwear is being in the water with the model and my DSLR.

It's special because well, I love the water, and you end up with images that most people can't get with their iPhones, or regular waterproof point and shoot cameras.  Why? Full frame and medium format cameras give a look that you simply can't replicate with a camera that has a small sensor.  Anyhow, you be the judge.

These images were taken in the beautiful clear waters of the Currumbin Rock Pools in Currumbin Valley, Queensland Australia, and a couple at Angel's Beach near Ballina and Byron Bay.  I still feel like I'm there!
